Cultural Visit from Phoebe

This afternoon Rimu 5 learned more about the Chinese culture.  Phoebe, Cody's mum, shared about the location of China, the meaning behind the flag, food, clothing, celebrations, language, the zodiac signs and brought in some moon cake for the students to try.
Thank you Phoebe.  We all enjoyed listening to and learning about the Chinese culture.

Did you know in the Chinese culture when you are old, you prefer to have noodles rather than a birthday cake?  This is it is believed that because noodles bring a longer life.
